Take the PADI Underwater Naturalist Specialty course and you’ll see new things, even on the most familiar scuba diving sites. Why?
Because when you know more about symbioses, underwater ecology, and aquatic plant and animal habitats, you notice behaviors and see creatures you may have previously missed.
Learn more about the local ecosystem and take a closer look on your next scuba diving adventure.
Through class discussions and on two scuba dives, you’ll learn:
- Key differences between the terrestrial and aquatic worlds.
- Major aquatic life groupings, interactions and information that dispels myths.
- Responsible interactions with aquatic life.

The Rescue Diver program makes the subject of accident prevention and management not only fun but extremely rewarding!
Enjoy wintertime diving and visibility in warmth and comfort! Learn the necessary skills to use a drysuit. Upon completion of the Orientation class you can rent a drysuit from us and dive with a divemaster present (to rent a drysuit and take it out on your own, you must complete the drysuit specialty).
An EFR course encompasses adult, child, and infant CPR skills, as well as providing AED and First Aid training. Many divers take EFR as a prerequisite of PADI Rescue Diver or in preparation for becoming a PADI Divemaster. The EFR program meets requirements for CPR and First Aid in the workplace (OSHA Guideline 29 CFR 1910.151).
