PADI Open Water Diver Course
Successful completion of the Open Water Diver certification requires, finishing the online PADI Open Water Diver eLearning, 3 pool sessions, where you will have your swimming evaluation and learn your basic skills, and 2 days of Open Water dives . Before the first pool session, schedule a time to get fitted out in the proper gear, fill out required paperwork, and do an equipment orientation. The cost of our course includes the Open Water eLearning modules, life support, and wetsuit for your open water dives. Unless you opt to learn in a dry suit(additional fees required).
*Private classes can be arranged for your schedule subject to available pool time for an additional fee.
Please download the Medical Waiver and answer the Divers Medical Questionnaire.
- If you answer yes to questions 3, 5 and 10, be sure to fill out page 2. You might be required to have a physician sign the waiver before submitting payment.
- For children ages 10 and 11*, please select the youth option. Classes with young children require more staff and instructor time.

You will need to purchase your personal equipment (mask, snorkel, fins, boots, and gloves). We offer several student packages.
Pool sessions are held at either North Kitsap Community Pool, 1818 Hostmark RD Poulsbo, WA or Bainbridge Aquatic Center, 8521 Madison Ave N, Bainbridge Island, WA. Open Water Weekend dives will be from the shore, site dependent on weather and tides.
