Come make bubbles underwater! This class is specifically geared towards children with the emphasis being on having tons of fun, learning to be safe, and breathing off SCUBA equipment beneath the surface of the pool.
Get your kids hooked on SCUBA diving at a young age!
Participants will experience the feeling of weightlessness just like astronauts do while playing games and having a blast with new-found friends.
This 1.5 hour class meets at the Bainbridge Aquatic Center or North Kitsap Pool in Poulsbo and all necessary gear is provided. Minimum age is 8 years old (there is no maximum age, but children 10 years and older can participate in Discover Scuba and/or get Open Water Certified) and participants must be able to swim one length (25m) of the pool.
Would you like to do this with your child? Ask about our family discover experience!
We hold Bubblemakers when we get a group of 3 or more children signed-up, so please let us know you’re interested and we’ll get one scheduled!
Enjoy wintertime diving and visibility in warmth and comfort! Learn the necessary skills to safely use a drysuit. Upon completion of the Dry Suit Specialty class you can rent a drysuit from anywhere in the world.
An EFR course encompasses adult, child, and infant CPR skills, as well as providing AED and First Aid training. Many divers take EFR as a prerequisite of PADI Rescue Diver or in preparation for becoming a PADI Divemaster. The EFR program meets requirements for CPR and First Aid in the workplace (OSHA Guideline 29 CFR 1910.151).
REACTIVATE YOUR SKILLS!
Are you a certified SCUBA diver who hasn’t dove in a few years? Well, here is your chance to review basic SCUBA skills, go over dive tables, and refresh your equipment knowledge.
We recommend renting a 7mm Farmer John pants paired with a 7mm jacket for local diving.
