Adult Classes are applicable to individuals ages 12
and older and in good physical condition.
Due to the nature of the activity, participants
should be comfortable on as well as in the water.
General Paddling Strokes: $ 55
This class is aimed towards those with little or no
experience kayaking, as well as those who want
some formal instruction or technique tips from
an instructor. We will cover the basics of kayaks,
paddles, life jackets, and safety equipment,
as well as teach you how to get in and out of the
kayak, paddle efficiently, and the various strokes
employed. Part of the time will be spent discussing
theory on the beach, but most of the time will be
spent on the water practicing the strokes, taking
in the sights, and getting technique critique.

Kayak Instruction Held in Eagle Harbor
Rescue and Re-Entry: $49
Come join us for this 2 Hour session in the
warm-water pool. This short course is
designed to boost the confidence of the new
paddler or rusty one, where we will teach,
review, and fine-tune efficient sea kayak
rescue and re-entry techniques. Proper wet
exit, self-rescue (paddle float), and
assisted-rescue (T-Rescue) will be covered.
This class can also be scheduled in
open (cold) water, for a more authentic experience!

Our Regular Paddling Group (Fitness Paddle)
Join us for a regular, fitness oriented paddle
as we discover kayaking destinations around
Bainbridge Island and Puget Sound, and
improve on our paddling skills along the way.
Kayaks and all gear is provided
(or you can certainly bring your own) and all
kayakers are are welcome. These trips are
lead by a professional kayaker who will
guide the group and also provide coaching
and tips for efficient paddling.
